Can You Legally Play Magic365 in Ontario?

What iGaming Ontario regulates
iGaming Ontario (iGO) is a subsidiary of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, set up in April 2022. It’s the only legal online gambling market for Ontario residents.
As of September 2026, iGO lists 49+ registered operators. This casino isn’t one of them. The current list is on iGaming Ontario’s own site.

That Curaçao licence lets it operate internationally. It doesn’t bring the casino under iGO’s framework, and there’s no public sign it has applied to. If that changes, we’ll update this page, so check the date at the top.
Is it illegal for me to play?
This is the question most Ontario players actually want answered.
Canadian gambling law targets operators, not individual players. There’s no federal or Ontario law that makes it a criminal offence for a resident to place a bet at an unlicensed offshore casino. The Criminal Code addresses running an unlicensed gambling business, not playing at one.
So depositing at this casino from Ontario isn’t a crime. That’s different from being fully protected, though: playing at an iGO-licensed casino comes with legal consumer protections built in. Playing here comes with Curaçao’s oversight only. That difference matters most if something goes wrong.
